Polyimide Die Cuts Polyimide has superior dielectric strength, high temperature & chemical resistance; tear, puncture & abrasion resistant. An excellent…
Using die cut parts reduce manufacturing costs by providing precise pre-cut pieces that need no trimming. Masking during solder wave processing in the Electronic industry and powder coating and painting in industrial applications.
Every roll of tape will be cut in some way. CGS specialists are true experts at helping you to reduce waste while saving time and money, within your process, with the right die cut tape. Die cutting will save time on labor, look more professional, help protect you from workmen’s compensation claims and allow you to place the exact amount of tape needed without waste or excess.
Polyester Discs are great for high temperature applications such as powder coating because they resist temperatures up to 425°F (218°C) for 1 hour. For higher temperature masking applications, consider polyimide discs which resist continuous temperatures up to 500°F (260°C) for 1 hour and protect against short exposures over 700°F (371°C).
These die cuts are made from a variety of tape materials and are usually offered in roll form with a release liner. Need another material? Squares or rectangles (or some other shape) instead of circles? Contact Us! We convert all kinds of tapes right here at our Toronto facility, every day.
